- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1.5 lbs)
- 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 2 tsp dried oregano
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels.
- In a bowl, whisk together minced garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, oregano, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Coat the chicken breasts thoroughly in the marinade. Let them marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place the marinated chicken on it.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
- Allow the chicken to rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
