Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, cream together softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time along with vanilla extract, mixing well.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, salt, and oats. Gradually combine this with the wet ingredients until just mixed.
- Fold in chocolate chips and M&Ms until evenly distributed.
- Drop dough onto prepared baking sheets about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden but centers remain soft. Cool on baking sheets before transferring to wire racks.
