Ingredients
- 8 oz fettuccine or penne pasta
- 2–3 boneless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 4–5 cloves minced garlic
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- 1. Cook pasta in salted boiling water according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- 2. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add chicken seasoned with salt and pepper; cook until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes.
- 3. Stir in minced garlic and sauté for one minute until fragrant.
- 4. Pour in heavy cream; let simmer for two minutes, then add grated parmesan cheese, stirring until melted.
- 5. Combine the drained pasta with the sauce and chicken, tossing until evenly coated.
- 6. Serve hot, topped with additional parmesan if desired.
