- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1 lb)
- 8 oz bowtie pasta (or pasta of your choice)
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 4 cloves fresh garlic (minced)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley or basil (chopped)
- Salt & pepper (to taste)
Instructions
- Boil a large pot of salted water and cook the pasta until al dente according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the unsalted butter. Add cubed chicken breasts seasoned with salt and pepper; cook for about 6-8 minutes until golden brown and fully cooked.
- Stir in minced garlic and fresh herbs; sauté for an additional 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Pour in heavy cream and mix well. Let simmer while adding grated Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy (about 3-5 minutes).
- Combine the drained pasta with the sauce mixture in the skillet, stirring gently to coat each piece of pasta.
- Serve hot, garnished with extra Parmesan cheese and fresh herbs if desired.
