- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1.5 lbs)
- 1 cup Swiss cheese, shredded
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
- 1 package (6 oz) stuffing mix
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 2 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil. Once hot, sauté minced garlic for about 30 seconds.
- Add chicken breasts seasoned with black pepper and cook until lightly browned on both sides.
- Remove the chicken and stir in cream of mushroom soup and chicken broth in the same skillet until combined and bubbly.
- Mix in half of the Swiss cheese until melted and smooth; reserve the rest for topping.
- Place chicken in a greased baking dish, pour the creamy mixture over it, and spread evenly.
- Top with stuffing mix and remaining Swiss cheese.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly.
