- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup raisins (optional)
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine the cooked rice and milk. Stir occasionally until warmed through.
- Mix in sugar, cinnamon, vanilla extract, and salt; blend well.
- Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer, stirring constantly for about 10 minutes until it thickens.
- If using raisins, stir them in during the last few minutes of cooking.
- Remove from heat and let cool slightly before serving warm or chilled.
