- 3–4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Pound chicken breasts to about half an inch thick for even cooking.
- In a bowl, mix panko breadcrumbs with cheddar cheese, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Brush chicken with olive oil and coat with the breadcrumb mixture, pressing firmly.
- Place coated chicken on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
- Let rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
