Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb beef sirloin
- 1 cup lettuce, chopped
- 1 cup bell peppers, sliced (any color)
- 1 cup cucumber, sliced
- 3 tbsp lime juice (freshly squeezed)
- 2 tbsp fish sauce
- 1 tbsp chili flakes (adjust to taste)
- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
- 1/4 cup fresh mint, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp sugar
Instructions
- Marinate the beef: In a bowl, combine soy sauce, lime juice, garlic, and chili flakes. Add sliced sirloin and let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Cook the beef: Heat a grill pan over medium-high heat. Sear the marinated beef for about 3-4 minutes on each side until cooked to your liking. Let it rest before slicing thinly against the grain.
- Prepare the vegetables: While the beef is resting, chop the lettuce, bell peppers, and cucumber into bite-sized pieces.
- Make the dressing: Whisk together lime juice, fish sauce, sugar, and additional chili flakes in a small bowl until well combined.
- Combine everything: Toss the sliced beef with prepared vegetables and drizzle with dressing just before serving. Garnish with fresh herbs.
