- 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)
- 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare an 8×8-inch baking pan by greasing it or lining it with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, mix melted butter and cocoa powder until smooth, then stir in sugar, eggs, and vanilla until well combined.
- Gently fold in the flour until just combined.
- In another bowl, beat softened cream cheese with remaining sugar and egg until creamy.
- Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared pan, spread the cheesecake mixture over it, then dollop the remaining brownie batter on top. Swirl gently for a marbled effect.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out mostly clean. Allow cooling before slicing into squares.
