  • 1 pound lean ground beef (80/20)
  • 4 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a large baking dish.
  2. Cook ziti pasta in boiling salted water until al dente; drain and set aside.
  3. In a skillet, brown ground beef over medium heat, draining excess fat.
  4. Stir marinara sauce into the cooked beef until heated through. In another bowl, mix ricotta cheese with half of both mozzarella and Parmesan.
  5. Layer half of the cooked pasta in the baking dish, then half of the meat sauce mixture. Add spoonfuls of the ricotta mixture on top. Repeat layers, finishing with meat sauce.
  6. Sprinkle remaining mozzarella and Parmesan on top. Bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
