Ingredients
- 1 lb beef flank steak, thinly sliced
- 4 cups fresh broccoli florets
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1-inch piece fresh ginger, grated
- 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 2 tbsp cornstarch mixed with 2 tbsp water
- 1 tbsp vegetable or sesame oil
Instructions
- Slice the flank steak against the grain into thin strips.
- Cut the broccoli into bite-sized pieces and mince the garlic and ginger.
- In a bowl, combine soy sauce, cornstarch mixture, minced garlic, and grated ginger; set aside.
- Heat oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
- Stir-fry the beef until browned but not fully cooked (about 3-4 minutes).
- Add broccoli to the pan and cook for another 3 minutes until bright green.
- Pour in the sauce, stir well, and cook for another minute until everything is coated and heated through.
