- 6 slices brioche or challah bread
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 3 large eggs
- 1/2 cup whole milk (or almond/oat milk)
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- Maple syrup for serving
Instructions
- Trim the crusts from the bread slices and flatten each slice with a rolling pin.
- In a bowl, mix sugar and cinnamon for the filling.
- Spread 1 tablespoon of the cinnamon mixture on each slice and roll tightly.
- In another bowl, whisk together eggs and milk until frothy.
- Heat butter in a non-stick pan over medium heat. Dip each roll in the egg mixture, then cook until golden brown on all sides.
- Serve warm, drizzled with maple syrup.
