Instructions

- Beat in the vanilla extract and egg until fully incorporated.

- Fold in chocolate chips evenly throughout the dough.
- Scoop tablespoon-sized mounds onto prepared baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are golden and centers appear slightly underbaked.
- Allow cookies to cool on sheets for 5 minutes before transferring to wire racks.
