- Ribeye or Sirloin Steak
- Fresh Garlic
- Unsalted Butter
- Fresh Herbs (Thyme or Rosemary)

Instructions
- Allow the steak to sit at room temperature for 30 minutes. Generously season both sides with salt and pepper.
- Heat a cast-iron skillet over high heat until smoking hot. Add oil and sear the steak for 4-5 minutes until golden brown.
- Add crushed garlic and herbs to the pan. Flip the steak, add butter, and baste continuously until it reaches an internal temperature of 130°F for medium-rare.
- Remove from heat and let rest on a cutting board for 10 minutes before slicing.
