Instructions
- Peel, core, and chop apples into small chunks.
- Combine chopped apples with brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, salt, and lemon juice in a large pot; stir well.
- Cook over medium heat until simmering; let it cook for 30-40 minutes until the apples are soft.
- Puree the mixture using an immersion blender until smooth.
- Return to heat and simmer uncovered for 10-15 minutes until thickened to your liking.
- Pour into sterilized jars while warm; seal and cool before refrigerating.
