Instructions

  1. Warm milk to 110°F (43°C), add sugar and yeast, and let it froth.
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, remaining sugar, salt, and melted butter. Gradually add the yeast mixture to form soft dough.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  4. Let the dough rise in a greased bowl covered with a cloth for about 1 hour until doubled.
  5. Mix softened cream cheese with powdered sugar, chopped strawberries, and cinnamon for the filling.
  6. Roll out the risen dough to a ¼-inch thick rectangle, spread the filling evenly, and roll tightly.
  7. Slice into 1-2 inch pieces and place in a greased baking dish. Let them rise again for 30 minutes.
