- Sourdough or whole grain bread
- Sharp cheddar cheese
- Cream cheese
- Roasted jalapenos
- Butter
- Garlic powder
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to roast the jalapenos for about 15 minutes until charred.
- In a bowl, mix shredded cheddar and cream cheese until smooth.
- Spread garlic powder on one side of each slice of bread. Layer cheese mixture and chopped roasted jalapenos on one slice.
- Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat. Grill the sandwich butter-side down for 4-5 minutes until golden brown, then flip carefully.
- Once both sides are crispy, slice in half and enjoy.
