- 3 medium ripe bananas
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 large egg
- ½ cup melted butter
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a standard loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth yet slightly chunky.
- Mix in the granulated sugar, melted butter, and egg until well combined.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually fold this dry mixture into the wet ingredients until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and optionally sprinkle nuts or chocolate chips on top.
- Bake for approximately 60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean from the center. Allow cooling before slicing.
