- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cooked egg noodles or rice for serving
Instructions
- In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until no longer pink. Drain excess fat.
- Add chopped onion and minced garlic; cook until onion is translucent.
- Stir in sliced mushrooms; cook for about 5 minutes until softened.
- Sprinkle flour over the mixture and stir well. Gradually add beef broth while stirring to avoid lumps.
- Simmer for about 5 minutes until the sauce thickens.
- Stir in sour cream and season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve over cooked egg noodles or rice.
