Instructions
- Preheat oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Pound chicken breasts between plastic wrap until 1/2 inch thick.
- Set up three shallow dishes: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with seasoned panko breadcrumbs.
- Dredge each chicken breast in flour, dip into eggs, then coat thoroughly with panko breadcrumbs.
- Fry the breaded chicken in hot oil for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F).
- Drain on paper towels and serve with tonkatsu sauce.
