Instructions
- In a small bowl, combine warm water and sugar. Sprinkle yeast on top and let it sit until foamy, about 5 minutes.
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour and salt until evenly combined.
- Pour the frothy yeast mixture and olive oil into the flour mixture. Stir until it forms a shaggy mass.
- Transfer to a floured surface and knead for 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Place in an oiled bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let rise in a warm spot for 1-2 hours until doubled in size.
- Gently punch down the dough to release air bubbles, then shape into desired forms for personal pizzas.
