Instructions
- Mix warm milk with sugar and yeast in a large bowl; let sit until frothy. Add eggs and vanilla extract.
- Gradually stir in flour and salt until a dough forms; knead gently for 5 minutes.
- Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
- Roll out chilled dough into a rectangle; generously spread softened butter over it.
- Evenly sprinkle your chosen filling over the buttered dough, roll tightly into a log, and cut into segments.
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and place filled segments upright in muffin tins.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
