Instructions
- Slice the onions into thin rings for even cooking.

- Add onion slices, stirring gently to coat in the butter mixture. Cook for about 10-15 minutes until they start turning golden brown.
- Season with salt and pepper as they cook down, continuing to stir occasionally.
- Cook for a total of 30-40 minutes until deeply caramelized, stirring frequently.
- Drizzle balsamic vinegar over the onions before removing from heat and stir to coat.
