- 1 cup fresh hazelnuts
- 1 cup Nutella
- 1 cup milk chocolate (for coating)
- 1 cup wafer cookies (crushed)
- 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 4 ounces dark chocolate (for dipping)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and roast the hazelnuts on a baking sheet for 10-12 minutes until golden brown. Allow them to cool.
- In a bowl, mix the roasted hazelnuts with Nutella until well combined.
- Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls and place them on parchment paper.
- Crush the wafer cookies into fine crumbs and roll each truffle in the crumbs to coat thoroughly.
- Melt the dark chocolate in short bursts in the microwave, then dip each truffle until fully coated, allowing excess chocolate to drip off.
- Let the truffles cool completely before serving or storing.
