- 8 oz spaghetti or fettuccine
- 1 lb large fresh shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cups fresh spinach
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente; drain and set aside.
- In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant. Add shrimp and cook until pink.
- Stir in heavy cream and spinach; cook until spinach wilts.
- Mix in Parmesan cheese, lemon juice, salt, and pepper until combined.
- Toss cooked pasta with the sauce. Add reserved pasta water for desired creaminess.
