Ingredients

  • All-Purpose Flour
  • Granulated Sugar

Instructions

  1. Activate the yeast by combining warm milk with yeast and a teaspoon of sugar; let sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix flour, remaining sugar, eggs, melted butter, and salt. Add the yeast mixture and stir until combined.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 8 minutes until smooth.
  4. Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm area for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  5. Roll out the dough, cut into circles, layer with butter, and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar. Stack like pancakes.
