- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1.5 lbs)
- 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
- 8 oz fettuccine or penne pasta
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 tsp Italian herbs
Instructions
- Cut chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces and season with salt and pepper.
- In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant. Add chicken pieces and cook until golden brown and cooked through.
- Lower the heat, stir in heavy cream, and gradually add parmesan cheese until melted.
- Cook pasta according to package instructions; drain well.
- Toss cooked pasta with the creamy sauce and garlic butter chicken until well coated.
- Serve hot, garnished with extra parmesan or fresh herbs if desired.
