- 1 cup powdered sugar (for frosting)
- ½ cup unsalted butter (softened)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking tray.
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and sugar until well combined.
- Create a well in the center of the dry ingredients and add eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla extract. Mix until just combined; lumps are okay.
- Pour the batter into the greased tray and spread evenly.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- For frosting: Beat softened butter until creamy, then gradually add powdered sugar and cocoa powder until fluffy; adjust consistency with milk if needed.
- Frost cooled cake generously and serve.
