- 1 cup unsalted butter (browned)
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup packed dark brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tsp pure vanilla extract

- ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder

- ½ tsp salt
- 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Brown the butter in a saucepan over medium heat for about 5-7 minutes until golden and nutty.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, cream together browned butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
- Add eggs one at a time and mix in vanilla extract.
- Gradually combine dry ingredients into the wet mixture without overmixing.
- Fold in chocolate chips.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and scoop dough onto lined baking sheets.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until set but soft in the center. Let cool before enjoying.
