- 1 lb pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup assorted fillings (pepperoni, veggies, chicken)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 450°F (230°C). Allow store-bought dough to rest at room temperature for 30 minutes.
- In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, mozzarella, assorted fillings, and Italian seasoning until well combined.
- Roll out the dough on a floured surface into circles about 6 inches in diameter.
- Spoon filling onto half of each circle, leaving space around the edges.
- Fold the dough over the filling and crimp edges tightly with a fork. Brush with olive oil.
- Place calzones on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
