- 3–4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (1.5 lbs)
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp pepper
- Vegetable oil for frying (about ½ cup)
Instructions
- Cut chicken breasts into strips about one inch wide.
- Set up three shallow bowls: one with flour mixed with salt and pepper, another with beaten eggs, and the last with panko breadcrumbs mixed with garlic powder.
- Dredge each chicken strip in flour, dip it in egg wash, and then coat it in panko breadcrumbs.
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
- Fry chicken strips in batches for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Drain on paper towels and serve hot with your favorite dipping sauces.
