- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese (freshly grated)
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs (beaten)
- 6 cloves fresh garlic (minced)
- 3 tbsp butter
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 tsp dried Italian herbs (oregano and basil mix)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and grease a baking sheet.
- Set up a breading station: one bowl with flour seasoned with salt and pepper, another with beaten eggs, and the third with grated Parmesan.
- Dip each chicken breast into flour, then egg, and finally coat generously in Parmesan.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear the chicken for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Transfer seared chicken onto the prepared baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
- In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat, add minced garlic, sauté briefly, then stir in heavy cream until well combined.
- Add more grated Parmesan cheese and dried herbs to the sauce; simmer until thickened.
- Serve the crispy chicken topped with rich garlic sauce.
