- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup Panko breadcrumbs
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tsp dried Italian herbs (basil and oregano)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Pat chicken breasts dry and season both sides with salt and pepper.
- In a bowl, mix minced garlic, olive oil, and Italian herbs.
- Coat each chicken breast in the garlic mixture, then press into the Panko breadcrumbs mixed with Parmesan cheese.
- Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature of 165°F or 75°C).
- Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
