- 4 boneless chicken thighs (about 500g)
- 2 tbsp fresh ginger, grated
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 2 green onions, chopped
Instructions
- Trim excess fat from the chicken thighs and cut them into bite-sized pieces.
- In a bowl, combine grated ginger, minced garlic, soy sauce, honey, and sesame oil. Toss in the chicken pieces until well coated and let marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Heat a pan over medium-high heat with a drizzle of oil. Add marinated chicken in a single layer; sear for about 5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Pour any leftover marinade over the chicken and cook on low heat for about 10 minutes until the sauce thickens.
- Stir in chopped green onions before serving. Plate over rice or steamed veggies.
