- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp fresh ginger, grated
- 1/4 cup green onions, sliced
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 2 tbsp toasted sesame seeds
Instructions
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned (5-7 minutes), breaking it apart as it cooks.
- Stir in the minced garlic and grated ginger, cooking for an additional 2-3 minutes until fragrant.
- Pour in the soy sauce and sprinkle the brown sugar over the meat mixture. Stir well and let cook for another 3-4 minutes to combine flavors.
- Remove from heat, then stir in sesame oil. Garnish with sliced green onions and toasted sesame seeds.
- Serve hot over rice or in lettuce wraps.
