- Fresh mushrooms (button or cremini)
- Halal chicken or vegetable broth
- Onion
- Garlic

Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Sauté finely chopped onion until translucent, about 5 minutes.
- Add minced garlic and sliced mushrooms; cook until mushrooms are golden brown, 7-10 minutes.
- Stir in arborio rice, coating it with oil and toasting slightly for 2-3 minutes.
- Gradually add one cup of heated halal broth while stirring continuously until absorbed. Repeat this process until rice is al dente, about 20-25 minutes.
- Remove from heat and mix in grated parmesan cheese, seasoning with salt and pepper to taste. Let sit briefly before serving.
