- 1 lb ground pork (higher fat content recommended)
- 4 green onions, finely chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups shredded napa cabbage
- 20 wonton wrappers
- 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
- 1 tbsp toasted sesame oil
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- In a pan over medium heat, add a splash of oil and sauté minced garlic until fragrant.
- Add shredded cabbage and ground pork; cook until browned.
- Stir in chopped green onions, soy sauce, and sesame oil; let flavors meld for about 5 minutes.
- Place about 1 tablespoon of filling on each wonton wrapper. Moisten edges with water, fold over, and seal tightly.
- Heat oil in a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Fry pot stickers seam-side up until golden brown (2-3 minutes).
- Carefully add water to the skillet, cover immediately, and steam for about 5 minutes until cooked through.
