  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup sour cream or Greek yogurt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
  2. In a bowl, melt butter with both sugars until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, then mix in vanilla and red food coloring.
  3. Fold in cocoa powder, flour, and baking powder until just combined. Pour half the batter into the prepared pan.
  4. In another bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Mix in powdered sugar, sour cream (or yogurt), and vanilla until creamy.
  5. Pour cheesecake mixture over brownie batter; dollop remaining brownie batter on top and swirl gently with a knife.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes until edges are set but center is slightly jiggly. Cool before slicing.
