- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 1 tbsp red food coloring
- 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1/4 cup sour cream or Greek yogurt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
- In a bowl, melt butter with both sugars until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, then mix in vanilla and red food coloring.
- Fold in cocoa powder, flour, and baking powder until just combined. Pour half the batter into the prepared pan.
- In another bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Mix in powdered sugar, sour cream (or yogurt), and vanilla until creamy.
- Pour cheesecake mixture over brownie batter; dollop remaining brownie batter on top and swirl gently with a knife.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until edges are set but center is slightly jiggly. Cool before slicing.
