  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs (room temperature)
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8×8-inch baking dish and line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, combine melted butter and granulated sugar until smooth. Mix in cocoa powder, flour, salt, baking powder, and eggs until fully combined.
  3. In another bowl, beat cream cheese with powdered sugar and vanilla until creamy.
  4. Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared dish. Spread the cheesecake mixture over it evenly, then dollop the remaining brownie batter on top and swirl together gently.
  5. Bake for 30–35 minutes until a toothpick inserted comes out with moist crumbs. Let cool completely before slicing.
  6. Top each square with sliced fresh strawberries just before serving.
