- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 6 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 3 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- Juice of 1 lemon
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Pat dry the chicken breasts and season both sides generously with salt and pepper.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, melt olive oil and butter. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant (about 1 minute).
- Sear chicken breasts in the skillet for about 5-7 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through.
- Stir in soy sauce, oregano, thyme, lemon juice, and red pepper flakes (if using). Cook for an additional minute.
- Serve hot and drizzle extra sauce over the chicken. Garnish with fresh herbs if desired.
