- Salt
- Zaatar Spice Blend
- Labneh
- Pitted Olives (Kalamata or green)
- Olive Oil
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine warm water and yeast; let sit until frothy (5-10 minutes).
- Gradually add flour and salt to form a soft dough.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for 10 minutes until smooth.
- Place in an oiled bowl, cover, and let rise until doubled (about 1 hour).
- Punch down the dough and divide into balls; roll each into ¼ inch thick circles.
- Spread zaatar over each circle and drizzle with olive oil.
- Preheat oven to 475°F (245°C) and bake for 10-12 minutes until golden brown.
- Top with labneh and olives before serving warm.
