Instructions
- Boil a large pot of salted water. Add macaroni and cook until al dente (about 8 minutes). Drain.
- In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Whisk in flour to create a roux; cook for 2 minutes without browning.
- Gradually whisk in milk until smooth. Simmer until thickened (about 5 minutes).
- Remove from heat and stir in cheddar cheese, mustard powder, and paprika until melted.
- Combine cooked macaroni with cheese sauce, mixing thoroughly.
- Serve warm.
