- 8 flour tortillas
- 2 cups shredded lettuce or cabbage
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- 1 cup shredded cheese (Cheddar or Monterey Jack)
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- Fresh cilantro (optional)
Instructions
- 1. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Grill over medium-high heat for about six minutes per side until fully cooked.
- 2. Remove the chicken from heat, let it rest, then slice into strips and coat with BBQ sauce.
- 3. Warm tortillas in another pan for 30 seconds on each side until pliable.
- 4. Assemble tacos by placing sliced BBQ chicken on each tortilla and topping with lettuce, tomatoes, and cheese.
- 5. Finish with a dollop of sour cream and sprinkle fresh cilantro on top.
