Ingredients
- 4 medium russet potatoes
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp coarse sea salt
- 4 tbsp butter (optional)
- Toppings of choice (cheese, sour cream, chives, bacon bits)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Scrub the russet potatoes under running water and pat them dry.
- Rub each potato with olive oil and sprinkle with sea salt.
- Poke several holes in each potato using a fork.
- Place the potatoes directly on the oven rack and bake for 45-60 minutes until soft.
- Serve immediately by slicing open and adding butter and your favorite toppings.
