- 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour and baking soda; set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat softened butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and salt until creamy.
- Add eggs one at a time along with vanilla extract; mix until combined.
- Gradually incorporate the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto prepared baking sheets, spacing them about two inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown around the edges but still soft in the center.
- Allow to cool on baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks.
