- 2 red snapper fillets (6 oz each)
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 3 cloves fresh garlic (minced)
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley (finely chopped)
- 1 tbsp fresh thyme (finely chopped)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Prepare your workspace by gathering tools and ingredients.
- Pat the red snapper fillets dry with paper towels. Season both sides with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat until shimmering. Add minced garlic, sautéing until fragrant (about 30 seconds).
- Place the fillets skin-side down in the skillet. Cook for 4-5 minutes until golden brown.
- Carefully flip the fillets using a spatula. Squeeze fresh lemon juice over them and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until cooked through.
- Sprinkle chopped parsley and thyme on top before serving alongside your favorite sides.
