Ingredients
- 2 slices sourdough bread
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup pizza sauce
- 6–8 slices pepperoni (or other desired toppings)
- Olive oil or butter for grilling
Instructions
- Preheat a nonstick skillet over medium heat and add olive oil or butter.
- Spread pizza sauce on one side of each slice of sourdough bread.
- Layer mozzarella and pepperoni on one slice; top with the other slice (sauce side down).
- Grill in the skillet for 3-4 minutes until golden brown. Flip carefully and cook another 3-4 minutes until cheese is melted.
- Remove from heat, let cool slightly, cut in half, and serve warm.
