  • 14 oz smoked sausage or Italian sausage, sliced
  • 1 medium onion, thinly sliced
  • 23 cloves garlic, minced
  • Red pepper flakes (to taste)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil or butter
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Chop the cabbage into bite-sized pieces and slice the onion. Mince the garlic.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the sliced sausage until browned (about 5-7 minutes). Remove from the skillet.
  3. In the same skillet, add onions and sauté until translucent (about 3-4 minutes).
  4. Add chopped cabbage and minced garlic; stir-fry until cabbage wilts down (8-10 minutes).
  5. Season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes to taste.
  6. Return the sausage to the skillet; mix well until everything is heated through.
