- 1 medium cucumber, sliced
- 10 fresh mint leaves
- ½ cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 2 lemons)
- 4 cups filtered water (or sparkling water)
- 1 tablespoon honey or agave syrup (optional)
Instructions
- Wash the cucumber and mint leaves thoroughly. Slice the cucumber into thin rounds.
- In a large pitcher, gently muddle the mint leaves with a muddler or wooden spoon to release their oils.
- Add the cucumber slices to the pitcher and stir gently.
- Squeeze in the lemon juice and pour in the water. Stir to combine.
- If desired, add honey or agave syrup and mix until dissolved.
- Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to infuse.
- Serve over ice and garnish with additional cucumber slices or mint sprigs.
