Instructions
- Marinate chicken in buttermilk and spices for at least 1 hour.
- Set up a breading station with seasoned flour, beaten eggs, and an empty dish.
- Dredge marinated chicken in flour, dip in eggs, then coat again in flour.
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
- Fry each piece for 6-8 minutes per side until golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
- For gravy: Whisk melted butter and flour in the skillet drippings; slowly add broth and milk until smooth.
